Registration and Deregistration of full-day care
RWS Cateringservice GmbH provides meals for the children throughout the day. This includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and fruit. The focus is on seasonal and fresh products from the region.
You can cancel your child's meal for the current day until 7:30 a.m.
For more information, please visit www.rws-gruppe.de.
We have breakfast from 7:30 a.m. in a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. We have lunch at 11:00 a.m. We make sure that every child gets the same food. The only exceptions are desserts and intolerances to certain ingredients. Tea, milk, juice and water are offered as drinks. The children are encouraged to drink as often as possible, but not to be wasteful.

My child is sick
In the event of illness, holidays or other days off for your child, please notify us as soon as possible by email or by calling +49(0)345 21 27 500 or +49(0)345 21 27 501.
- Children who are suffering from a contagious illness or have vermin infestation are not permitted to attend the nursery due to legal regulations.
- If your child has a contagious infectious disease, the nursery must be informed immediately.
- After the child has recovered, a medical certificate must be provided in the above cases to confirm that the child is healthy again and that there are no concerns about them attending the daycare centre. This also applies in cases where the child has been sent home with the advice to see a doctor due to an acute illness.
- Children with diarrhoea, vomiting and fever must always be taken to see a paediatrician.
- As a general rule, no medication may be administered at the childcare facility. In exceptional cases, with the permission of the doctor and the parents, exceptions to this rule may be made.
For new admissions, we require a health certificate from the doctor, which must not be older than 3 weeks.

Engagement
We invite all parents to get actively involved.
Our support association effectively supports the work of the children's home, for example by purchasing specialist books for the in-house library or Montessori materials for the groups. It also provides us with financial support for special events (e.g. flea market, Advent celebrations). We are very grateful for this!
In addition, we offer trainees, interns and people doing a voluntary social year the opportunity to complete their practical hours with us. You can find more information on the Franckesche Stiftungen careers page.
We look forward to having you on board!
